NBA Preview: New York Knicks at Golden State Warriors

The NBA season is coming to an end, and many teams are looking for a chance to make the playoffs for good. However, for these two teams it is not a matter of whether or not they will make the playoffs, but will they come in first in their respective divisions. The New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors face off tonight in a battle of east vs. west. This will be a great game for sports betting fans to watch.

New York Knicks

The Knicks are coming off a win even though stand out star Carmelo Anthony is out with a knee injury. On Saturday they absolutely killed the Utah Jazz 113-84, and they are looking to continue that streak for tonight’s game. J.R. Smith will need to lead the team with Stoudemire and Anthony out, but he has averaged over 20 points for the last three games. The Knicks have won three straight while on the road and have a 16-12 road record to boast.

Golden State Warriors

Lately, the powerhouse warriors have struggled only slightly. They have been slipping as they now sit at a 35-29 record and find themselves creeping back toward the .500 mark. Although they have won two in a row, they have lost 6 of their last 8 games. David Lee will most likely be sitting out with a knee injury, which means Stephan Curry will need to play his best if they hope to stop the Knicks, Luckily for them they are dominant at home with a 29-9 record. They lost their last game to the Knicks in New York last month, so they will be out for blood tonight at home.

Many sports books and bookies have the Warriors listed as the favorite, but tonight should not be a blowout. Watch for the Knicks to keep up with the warriors for every quarter. It is not looking good for the Knicks as they have lost nine times out of ten in Oakland. Check out the latest 5dimes review for over/under listings and more odds.
