Tipico won’t read Russian!

There is a new dispute involving Tipico.com (SBR Rating C-) and one of its players. SBR is currently researching the issue. So far it is known that the player claims that the company refused him to cashout his winnings because he could not provide them with a banking statement written in English. According to the Russian customer his bank is not able to give him a statement in the requested language so there is not much he can do to comply with Tipico.com ‘s request. The facts on this matter are still being questioned and examined by the specialists at SBR.

The last dispute that was reported to happen with Tipico.com hit the SBR news on May 3rd. It all happened over a misunderstanding when the company decided to seize the €195 of the customer’s winnings. The player got in contact with SBR and explained that his ID had been approved but that Tipico.com claimed he had ties with money laundering activities. After attempting in vain to prove them that there was no such ties, the customer decided to get help. SBR followed up with Tipico.com and got a statement from them saying that it was all a misunderstanding. They accepted the fact that they preferred to close the customer’s account but that they never considered holding back his winnings. He has been paid and SBR now considers this case closed.
