At 36-years old, it is truly amazing that Mayweather is still as dominant as he is now. Khan is talented enough that he should be able to hold his own against Mayweather, and the storylines surrounding a potential bout would make it worth the wait.
The anticipation of whom Mayweather will fight next has almost become better than the actual fights, and while that may change when he goes up against Alvarez, fans will always be wanting more. While Pacquiao is the ideal challenger, Khan is another solid option and it will be interesting to see how the champion and his handlers go about deciding who the next opponent will be following his upcoming bout with Alvarez and then going forward from that point on.
