NFL Betting – Week 4 Picks, Part II

NFL Betting – Week 4 Picks, Part II So many NFL week 4 matchups to bet on, so little time. We gave you some solid picks earlier in the week; here are a few more to try. Check out these NFL predictions!

New York Jets @ New Orleans Saints (-7)

Sunday, October 4, 1:00 p.m. ET

The Jets have been the talk of the NFL with their devastating defense, particularly that of cornerback Darrelle Revis. Even though the Saints are tough test for them, they already shut down Houston, New England and Tennessee – hardly popgun offenses. Then again, the Saints showed true versatility last week against Buffalo, excelling on the run with Pierre Thomas after Buffalo neutralized Drew Brees in the passing game. The Saints will find a way to score and, more importantly, their underrated pass rush will fluster Mark Sanchez.

Betting software recommends: Saints -7

Seattle Seahawks @ Indianapolis Colts (-10)

Sunday, October 4, 1:00 p.m. ET

At first glance, the Indy spread seems extreme. When you break it down, however…how can Seattle stay within 10 points? Without Matt Hasselbeck, the Seahawks turn to Seneca Wallace at quarterback versus a solid pass defense. Wallace averaged 5.9 yards per attempt last week, so it’s tough to imagine Seattle moving the ball very well. Peyton Manning should pick apart the Seahawks secondary in the first half; then he’ll hand off to Joseph Addai and Donald Brown in the second half as Indy cruises. The Colts are a very safe sportsbook pick.

Betting software recommends: Colts -10

Dallas Cowboys (-3) vs Denver Broncos

Sunday, October 4, 4:15 p.m. ET

Now it’s time to find out of the Broncos are for real. Their defensive numbers are staggering, but they faced the atrocious Browns and Raiders over the last two weeks. The Cowboys will almost certainly do a better job moving the ball, especially on the ground. Can Kyle Orton and the Broncos answer back? Don’t be surprised if DaMarcus Ware wakes up for Dallas and gets to Orton, forcing some bad throws and turnovers. The Cowboys will ground the Broncos.

Betting software recommends: Cowboys -3
