The Renault team was suspended for the next F1 race, the European Grand Prix, for allowing Fernando Alonso to leave the track without taking the tire under the car properly.The FIA, motorsport's world governing body said on Sunday after studying video and audio recordings of the Hungarian GP that the French team was suspended from the next event of Formula One
The right front tire came off when Alonso took the ninth curve and went to bounce the track.
The safety of the race was in doubt from the previous day, when the pilot Brazilian Felipe Massa had to be hospitalized to receive a blow to the head of a loose piece of metal. His condition was stable but still in danger of dying.
