Baylor at Connecticut
Friday, 8:00 pm Eastern
ESPN 2

The Connecticut Huskies look to go 4-0 to start the season as they host the Baylor Bears on Friday night. This nationally televised game on ESPN 2 should have some offense in it as Baylor is coming off a game in which they scored 45 points in a win against Washington State while Connecticut scored 45 points in their rout of Virginia last week.

Connecticut is a 13.5 point favorite at SBG Global.

Connecticut has won its last five night games at Rentschler Field and boasts an all-time mark of 9-3 “under the lights" at Rentschler. UConn has won seven of its last eight non-conference games overall and will be a tough matchup for Baylor. "They are a good football team. They went 9-4 last year, won the Big East and went to a bowl game.” Baylor head coach Art Briles said, “They have 19 of 22 starters back. They are 26-8 at home over the last four years and they have won the last 8 or 9 in a row. They are a tough team." Baylor has turned things around somewhat this season under Briles. They routed Washington State last week as freshman Robert Griffin set a school record with 217 yards rushing. He also passed for 129 yards in the win.
